From 2018 on EuroNCAP will extended the the testing range for the Lane Support System with another test.
In addition to the LDW Lane Departure Warning and the LKA Lane Keeping Assistance the ELK Emergency Lane Keep will be added. For the realisation of this test scenarios a smooth running steering robot is needed.
Our steering robot CS-B20 fulfills exactly this features. The powered off steering robot convinces with his extremely low passive steering torque and his minimal moment of inertia. Therefor there is no interference with the car´s own steering action when the lane keep assistant is working. Futhermore the steering robot CS-B20 convinces like the other steering robots CS-B40 and CS-B60 with the mounting behind the steering wheel.The vehicle´s own steering wheel does not have to be removed and there are no disturbing structures between the driver and the steering wheel. Our leading role in behind-the-wheel steering robots is even approved by competitors as they newly try to copy our design without reaching our quality and flexibiltiy.

We are proud to announce the launch of the automatic target following - a revolution for the area of AEB testing! With this new technology AEB tests are much more simplified, easier to handle and faster to conduct!

In the framework of the DLR-Verkehrskolloquium in Braunschweig our Managing Director Dr. J. Helbig will held a speech on the 2nd of May 2013 with the topic "Objective Testing of Autonomous Braking Systems".
 
The high precision and accuracy which is necessary especially for the EuroNCAP AEB testing require driving robots. VEHICOs robots are perfectly suitable for AEB testing and are already widely used for these tests.

In addition to the already existing velocity control VEHICOs gas pedal robot now comes with a distance control. In this mode the desired distance to an ahead driving vehicle or target can be programmed and will exactly be controlled.
